Montana, the state with the fourth-largest land area, is home to numerous counties that feature stunning views.
Granted, most people (even those of us living in Montana) would probably choose a western county to be named most beautiful, and that's exactly what one travel website did.

The travel blog Love Exploring set out to find the best-looking county in each state, and with 56 counties to choose from, it is not an easy job picking which county in Montana is the most beautiful.
Park County, along with the Paradise Valley located in it, could be lots of people's choice, but not for Love Exploring, who had two other counties in mind when they made their selection.
Glacier vs. Flathead—Which One Wows More?
You had to figure that when it comes to scenic and beautiful counties, it would be a county that included Glacier National Park, which means both Glacier and Flathead could have been the choice.
While both of these counties could be the one chosen, Love Exploring said the 10th most beautiful county in America is Flathead County.
Here's why they went with Flathead County instead of Glacier County:
It’s a toss up between Flathead and Glacier Counties in Montana, considered by many to be among the most beautiful states. Both encompass swaths of Glacier National Park, with flower-strewn mountain slopes and wildlife from grizzly bears to bighorn sheep, and share its dizzyingly lovely Going-to-the-Sun Road. But Flathead delivers a knockout blow with the national forest of the same name, whose wilderness areas, lakes, and rivers cover 2.4 million acres in the Rocky Mountains.
It’s hard to disagree with their assessment and choice; however, while it may be the most beautiful, is it truly the best county to live in here in Montana?
