Sadly, it doesn't seem to be that way when it comes to medical care since we pay quite a bit of money here in America but don't always get what we are paying for.

These Montana Hospitals Are Worth Your Money

When it comes to medical care under the Big Sky, we have quite a few options, but with choices come different levels of service as well.

The online publication Newsweek set out to find the best-in-state run hospital in all 50 states, and when it came to Montana, they named 6 as the best.

When it comes to these 6 hospitals, it was not a popularity contest, nor was it just the biggest hospitals offering up the most specialists.

How Were These Hospitals Deemed The Best?

To figure out what hospitals were offering their patients the best care, Newsweek teamed up with Statista.

Together they surveyed thousands of doctors, hospital managers, and other healthcare professionals who were asked to recommend leading hospitals in their state but were not allowed to name their own hospital.

This helps make sure the hospitals with the most doctors don't automatically take the top spot.

They were asked to rank quality of care, staffing, patient counseling, and accommodation and amenities on a scale of 1-10.

Based on those scores, we can now see the 6 hospitals that healthcare professionals in Montana feel are the best in the state.
