A disturbing video circulating online showing injury to a child has led to Billings police announcing an investigation is underway.

The shocking video shows a couple arguing near what appears to be a parking lot shopping center in Billings near 4213 State Avenue based on signage and other details from the video.

What Happened in the Baby Stroller Video?

Now, I can't post the video here because it doesn't appear anyone knows who originally took the video.

But, I did find someone who shared it here but here's your trigger warning: you will see a baby get hurt.

In the video, we see a couple walking with a stroller in a parking lot and seemingly in the middle of a dispute. The video takes a dark and shocking turn when amidst a physical scuffle between the two (seemingly about taking control of the baby stroller), the baby inside gets launched from the stroller and lands face down on the hard asphalt.

As a father and like a lot of other decent human beings out there who saw this video, it makes me feel absolutely sick to my stomach.

Billings Police Announce Investigation Into The Couple

In a post to Facebook, the Billings Police Department shared they were made aware of the video on social media.

"Our officers immediately began investigating this incident and have since identified all individuals involved," Billings police said. "Investigators are actively working to locate those parties as the investigation continues."

Billings police said they have contacted the appropriate agencies who are on stand-by, ready to help this child.

"Based on the findings of the investigation, the case will be submitted to the appropriate charging authority for review," Billings PD said, "Additionally, all necessary public service and child welfare agencies have been notified and are involved as appropriate."

Authorities apparently located the baby and were able to get it to a hospital for evaluation. Billings officers thankfully shared that the child was treated and released, with seemingly no serious injuries that have been announced.

I don't know what was going on between the couple but how unfortunate is it that the child got stuck in the middle of it? It's my hope that they're not only held responsible, but also get the proper help and education they both need to make sure this never happens again.
