"One of the key messages we delivered is, listen, if you want our farmers to help feed your people, you need to be a reliable customer," Governor Gianforte said in the exclusive interview with 560 KMON.
"There's got to be some baseline buying. There's got to be longer term contracts. And I think that message got through. That was one of the primary messages we were delivering while we're over there."
The Montana-Sri Lanka Partnership
Governor Gianforte also shared that they have partnered with Sri Lanka through the State Partnership Program which has resulted in a cooperative effort focused on disaster response, engineering, and more.
