Let me tell ya, it certainly caused quite a stir!

Which, in all fairness, I figured it probably would.

Article Recap

Long story short, in my opinion, the Facebook page Great Falls Bad Drivers / Parking has gotten a bit out of control.

In my humble opinion, the page has been inundated with self-righteous, hypocritical people who are overly comfortable hiding behind their keyboards and talking smack about people who drive poorly or park terribly in Great Falls.

As I said a million times in the article, I'm not advocating for poor drivers or bad parking jobs.

I merely suggested that instead of picking on folks and publicly humiliating them, we show them a little bit of grace from time to time and realize that we all make mistakes.

My Favorite Responses

  • Numerous people commented that there are way more important things to write an article about in Great Falls.
    • I couldn't agree more! While employed at the radio station, I've written around 1,000 articles, many of which are about local events and topics. I hate to break it to you, but nobody seems to care or read them. People tend to favor sensationalized news!
  • Some people assumed since I was writing this article, I must've been featured on the Facebook page.
    • You don't have to believe me, but I have never been featured or the topic of discussion on that Facebook page.

My Final Thoughts

Each and every person who responded to this article with some crazy assumption or derogatory comment played right into what I was saying about the Great Falls Bad Drivers / Parking Facebook page.

The comments on that page have gotten out of control.
