There's been a lot of talk about when we will get snow in Montana and for some people, that can be a good thing or a bad thing.
Some people aren't excited about all of the winter "duties" that come with snow while others don't mind and even enjoy a white blanket over Montana.
Snow In Montana: When Will It Arrive?
There are many speculations about when the snow will arrive in Montana and rightfully so.
There's a lot of prep to be done for Montanans before winter arrives and now that we're in October, many feel the clock is ticking to winterize your vehicle and home. Now, on the other hand, I've talked to several folks who also confessed that they never winterized their vehicle and aren't all that stressed about the incoming winter weather.

But, there's something else to consider before brushing off the incoming snowy weather... like when it melts.
The Financial Danger Melting Snow Can Pose
It might sound like a silly idea for folks who have no issue dealing with the snow, but as people who are as unfamiliar with snow as I am continue to move into the state, knowing this stuff can help save you from potential disaster.

In most cases, the temperatures will remain cold following snowfall. Thus, we won't have to worry too much about sudden melting as it will gradually fade over time or turn into those nasty, dirty icy piles that build up from plows.

But, on occasion, it can snow quite a bit one day and be warm enough to instantly melt when the sun comes up the next day.
