Municipal Elections Will Be by Mail in Great Falls
Ballots are coming soon to residents in Great Falls for the next Municipal Election in the city, set for November 4, 2025. The election plans to be an interesting one, with matchups between mayoral candidates and the heated topic of fireworks in the city.
Included in this year's election will also be selections for city commissioners a municipal judge in department B of the city and a selection for Neighborhood Council 3. (Great Falls commissioners voted to adopt resolution 10607 in September which canceled elections for councils 1, 2 and 4-9 due to "the number of filed candidates is equal to or less than the number of positions to be filled pursuant to 13-1-403 MCA. The candidates who filed for those positions are deemed elected by acclamation.")
