Great Falls Rescue Mission, a non-profit Christian organization dedicated to serving North Central Montana, has been transforming the lives of the hungry, hurting, and homeless through the love of Jesus Christ.

Great Falls Rescue Mission History

In 1963, Harold Ross, a former lumberjack-muleskinner, was called by God to establish a Rescue Mission in Great Falls, Montana.

With a vision to partner with local churches and just a few hundred dollars, Ross began his mission to share Jesus with homeless men.

Starting with a rented building in the "skid row" area of town, Great Falls Rescue Mission reached out to those society had considered lost.

In October 1973, Ross's dream of acquiring a permanent location was realized when the Martin Hotel building at 326 2nd Ave S. became the new home of the Great Falls Rescue Mission.

Today, Great Falls Rescue Mission has purchased and renovated a Thrift Store that directly profits from Great Falls Rescue Mission programs.

The Cameron Family Center is the newest addition to Great Falls Rescue Mission and opened its doors in January of 2017.

Between each shelter, Great Falls Rescue Mission has 300 beds and continues to serve over 350 meals a day to residents and the public.
