Hyundai Latest Manufacturer to Issue Recalls in Montana
Older generations like me are all shaking our heads as of late. The recalls that continue to happen are mind boggling. I never remember my parents needing to take a vehicle in for something the factory messed up.
But lately, if you have a newer type of vehicle, chances are there is a recall somewhere for it. Ford, Chevrolet, GM, Tesla and more have seen huge numbers of vehicles that need to be recalled and now Hyundai is set to make that number even larger.

If you own a Hyundai Sante Fe or an Elantra, and the years of those vehicles were manufactured in 2021-2022, you may need to have your vehicle checked. But you may already know that, because you can't use your backup camera!

The recall centers around an ongoing investigation into allegations of intermittent, distorted, or inoperative rearview camera images from owners according to the National Highway and Transportation Safety Administration.
Checking Your Vehicle to Make Sure it is Safe on Montana Roads
If you own one of the Hyundai models affected by the recall, the company says they will "notify affected drivers by Jan. 19, 2025, and said those drivers can have their rearview cameras replaced for free, and any driver who already had their cameras swapped out will be reimbursed."
