Montana: Get This Cinnamon Out Of Your Pantry Now
America Has A Quality Control Problem
What has happened to quality control in America? I'm not sure what I was doing when all the regulations were pulled back, all in the name of helping corporations, America's favorite citizen, but they HAD to be pulled back. They just had to. The recalls are crazy.
Whether it's something like your car going into neutral while you're going 75 miles per hour, or maybe the lunch meat you bought just happened to be tainted with Listeria, America has a quality control problem.
Cinnamon Being Recalled Due To Lead Risk
Cinnamon. Lead Risk. In America, in 2024, how can this be in the same sentence? Remember last year when there was lead tainted applesauce packaged for toddlers? I digress. Let's get this cinnamon out of your home.
These products were sold in both local and on-line stores. Take it back to the store. Don't throw it away because then the company doesn't lose money and if the company doesn't lose money they will keep slowly killing us for as long as they can get away with it. Then, the same companies will yell that no one wants to work, but that's another story.
Food Manufacturing Is Reporting:
"Testing by state programs and confirmed by the FDA found levels of lead that ranged from a little over 2 parts per million to about 7 parts per million in most of the spices, the agency said. The El Servidor brand was found to have a lead concentration of 20 parts per million."
It's not as much as was found in the tainted applesauce last year, but it's enough led for the FDA to request voluntary recalls from each manufacturer.
We Need To Hit Them In The Pocketbook
Again, PLEASE return these tainted products to the manufacturer. I get what a pain it is. I detest returning things. But, if we don't make them give us our money back, there will be ZERO incentive for these companies to do better.
