Follow-Up Funk On The G-Funk Article (Facebook responses)

I wrote an article called "Why in the funk does Great Falls get dissed so much?" I'd like to point out I said I loved Great Falls more than 5 times in that article.  I also talked about how everyone and everything goes through bad phases.

The inspiration for the article was the term G-Funk, which I've always hated.  I did some research on that, and I found out that Great Falls gets a bad wrap more than most of us know.

I thought I'd share what my listeners think.  Oddly, no comments from River listeners, but Big Stack listeners had plenty to say, along with a few from 560 KMON

I would like to share that for decades on-air personalities IN GREAT FALLS, no other Montana town, were never allowed to have an opinion on anything ever.  If you listen in any other town, the announcers are doing and saying things like this and things that can be taken as even more harsh.  We will do our part to make Great Falls better by celebrating the good and not being afraid to point out some flaws. When we talk about it, it's the first step to getting better.  Ignoring problems never works out at all.  Take a good look at what's really going on here, what average citizens think and feel, and take steps to improve it.  To simply be disappointed really isn't going to make Great Falls an awesome town like we all know it can be.
